Hello from Chris Wheatley, CEO Flying High Partnership.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you. I’m Chris Wheatley, CEO of the Flying High Partnership. On behalf of the Partnership I am delighted that we have been given the responsibility of delivering a wonderful school to the new community of Drakelow.

Flying High is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) of 38 primary schools located across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire. A great benefit of being a MAT is that it enables us to tap into a wealth of experience and expertise across our family of schools. We have a strong track record of recruiting and supporting staff to be the best they can be for your children.

At Flying High, we strongly believe that the local community and their needs should be at the heart of our schools. From my days as a Headteacher, building relationships with families has always been central to supporting the successful progression of children.
